Zimbabwe's electricity crisis has created a market within that market, a very specific problem. Too many electrical and solar installations in Zimbabwe are being executed quickly, cheaply and without accountability. Systems fail within months. Documentation doesn't exist. Warranties are verbal. When something goes wrong, the contractor is unreachable.

This problem is not caused by a lack of skill in the market. It is caused by a lack of discipline. The question has never been whether Zimbabwe has electricians. It has been whether it has electricians who operate to a documented standard, show up on time, price honestly and stand behind their work when something goes wrong.

That gap is exactly what Pro Electrics was built to fill. Our founding principals began operating in 2018 with a specific conviction: that a properly run contracting business one with supervised sites, written quotations, commissioning protocols and formal handovers could be commercially competitive in Zimbabwe. Not in spite of doing things properly, but because of it.

We formally incorporated in 2020 as Masombo Investments (Pvt) Ltd, trading as Pro Electrics. In the years since, we have grown from a small team to 21 people, completed work across Harare, Victoria Falls, Kariba and multiple provinces, and built a project history spanning residential estates, national food service chains, schools and a marine environment 300 kilometers from our base.

The standard has not changed. The only thing that has grown is the evidence that it works
