Marine Solar PV Installations
In 2026, Pro Electrics completed a 5kW solar PV installation on a vessel at Marineland Harbour, Kariba. This installation required corrosion-resistant mounting hardware, marine-rated cabling, waterproofing standards beyond those applied in terrestrial installations, and system configuration for the specific charge-discharge profile of a marine environment. This is not a theoretical capability — it is a completed, commissioned installation. If you have a vessel, a floating structure or a waterfront facility requiring solar power, we have a reference installation and the experience to deliver.
Aircraft Hangar Solar Installations
In 2023, Pro Electrics completed a solar PV installation at a private aircraft hangar. Hangar installations present unique structural constraints — roof loading, large clear spans, height access requirements and the need to maintain structural integrity in the roof membrane. We assessed, designed and delivered a functioning system within these constraints.
Remote Off-Grid Systems
Off-grid solar PV systems for sites without grid access — farms, lodges, remote facilities and rural development projects. These systems require careful load analysis, appropriately sized battery banks and inverter configurations that can manage variable weather and extended periods without grid backup. We design these systems for operational reality, not optimistic assumptions.
Non-Standard Environment Assessments
